A soldier from the Army career tracking unit has created a career tracker app for those who are interested in joining the military.
The soldier, who is in his mid-30s, said the app would help soldiers and their families find jobs and provide advice to help them find a good one.
He said it was aimed at providing a platform for the service and giving those who have chosen to do so the information they needed.
He added that it would also provide an easy way for people to get the latest job vacancies and other information about the Army.
The Army career trackers website has more than 3,000 job vacancies for military service personnel and is a key part of the service’s recruiting strategy.
Mr Kavanagh said he was not involved in the app but wanted to help those who wanted to apply to join the Army find jobs.
“I think that’s what we do,” he said.
“We put people on a list of what jobs they might like to do and then we give them information about what job vacancies they might be interested in.”
So you don’t have to have a degree or even have a professional qualification to be on a career track.
“It’s a great platform to find employment and it will also provide advice for people who want to join in the service.”
